10-year-old 'popped' his way into TV dance show
A 10-YEAR-OLD streetdancer has ‘popped’ his way into the live finals of a TV dance show.
Akai Osei-Mansfield from Orpington has beaten off competition from thousands of other hopefuls to gain a place in the live finals of Got to Dance.
The youngster, who attends Class School of Dance based in Orpington, will try to battle it out with 17 other people all hoping to be crowned the dance champion.
His dance teacher, Clare Miles, is hoping he goes all the way.
The Princes Plain Primary School youngster's audition clip has already been viewed 84,000 times on YouTube and if he wins the competition he could walk away with £100,000.
Akai has won countless competitions, titles and trophies including Kent Street Dancer 2009.
He has also recorded a scene in a forthcoming 3D street dance movie.
Got To Dance is shown on Sky1 & Sky1 HD at 6pm on Sundays and Akai will perform live on February 7.
